2. Design for development 3. To provide technical advice to consultant, project team and project engineers on civil and structural matters. 4. Assist project team in procurement process of contractors. 5. Assist in planning and procurement of consultancy services, 6. Design, drawings and specification review to meet the agreed standards of practices and project/contract requirements 7. Monitor and advise project team/ engineers on the latest development in construction technologies and application. 8. Interface with other functional disciplines i.e architectural, MEP engineering, QS, IT, etc.. 9. Monitor and inspect works within function. 10. Perform value engineering / value management for the project’s cost effectiveness and maintain data for future possible application in future project. Qualifications Job-related Experience : Minimum 10 years Educational Level : Degree in Engineering ( Civil and/or Structural) Managerial scope : Minimum 5 years External Contacts : Client, Authorities, consultants and Contractors Internal Contacts : Management within organization, Project Team, and other support departments. Authority: Decision Making Level : Approval within delegated authority, and job scope. Responsible for Results : Achieving department objectives and performance target
